By Car via Highway 70 & 68
From Stockholm, follow the E4 north to Enköping and merge onto Riksväg 70 through Sala. The scenic drive takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes, leading straight to the Åsbo Giant Dala Horse landmark. Parking across Avesta is largely free of charge.
